IT'S A LITTLE CONFUSING.. But if you are one of the folks who have been reading - and we hope entertained by- our SanzoXGakjyo ( ! ) thread, this is the place for you to raise the roof, introduce yourself, suggest plot ideas, volunteer yourself to join the madness (thousands of roles still open, folks!), even praise us if you absolutely must.... But this is definitely the place!! We hope you will continue to read along with us whether you chose to join in or comment or not ( but please at least say hello!) We are having an awful lot of fun with this, as well as seriously trying to do our best to stay true to the characters and the series that we hold so dear to our hearts. It would be nice to know we are entertaining someone besides ourselves with our antics. On a personal note, this is my first experience with role play of any kind - never even did any acting even when I was involved with the theatre for years (always backstage - props, costumes, etc.) It has just amazed me not only how much fun this is, but how much I have gotten into it emotionally, how moving it can be. I did the role of Hakkai back at the beginning of the thread, and was in a situation where he was confessing that he had fallen in love with the kappa fairly early on, and never told him, and he was telling Gojyo what it had been like for him to watch him fall in love with Sanzo, and I was in tears for the guy! It truly got to me! Now bear in mind I am not some 16 year old fangirl, folks, I am a 51 y/o (tell anyone and I'll get the gun! ^-^) recovering Librarian with a 28 y/o kid! So this has been an adventure and a revelation to me, not to mention a helluva lot of fun. And the folks that make up our Ikkou are some of the smartest funniest people it's ever been my privilege to know- or whack with a fan-o-doom - in my life! SO:IN SHORT... READ.....
