*goku is a little way a head of sanzo, he enogy levals are slightly rised and the normaly chearfull monkey has his hands curled up into fists. longer than normal nails cutting the skin**slow and soft breathing can be hurd from the boy struggling so hard with his own inner battle. so many emosions.* *anger..... words cutting his frail armer* *fear... what if he lost it again?* *sadness.... at the loss of a night of fun* *restraint.... from smasking that punks face in* *a warmth from behind lets the waring boy know who is there before his arms snake round and carefully hold him. ****Sanzo has a rare moment of clear understanding and compassion, remembering what it was like for him at Goku's age (and younger) living surrounded by adults, trying to fit in...**Tell you what, Saru, we'll go into the refectory now and get the cook to make us up some of those steamed dumplings you like for lunch, and you can read some to me this afternoon. Then we'll see how we feel later... if we feel like joining Hakkai and peanut butter brain this evening, we'll let Hakkai come pick us up. ***with on his hand gently on his shoulder, he tips his chin up to look at him...** How's that sound? fine sanzo.*but a voice deep in the dark of his head whipered (( if i get to rip red a new one over the bar )) but he pushed it down, layering feelings of Sazno's love over the hurt her felt like some mental band aid.* *looking up at his sun, he managed a small smile.* can i chose the book? *goku was all ready picking out his favrot one 'quick snaks for a millon days' and it had pitchers as well which was a bones* Do you find this valuable? |

They are sitting up in the bed with Goku snuggled up under Sanzo's arm, the book he picked out to read clutched in his hand...**So lemme see, monkey, what book did you pick out for us to read? ***He looks at his young charge's face, and notices that the boy is not as happy as he normally would be to be having this one-on-one time with "his sun," and his face seems cloudy....** Oi, saru! *Goku holds up the cookbook, and watches Sanzo give an amused tiny smile*"Sanzo why was Gojyo so skaired of a girl. I thought he wanted one, he's been so nice to all the ladys in town and they like him back. I seen them look. They look a Hakkai to but no so much." *Goku blushes at his admishion* *Thumbing the book open he looks for the page telling how to make finger food, or hours de overs, as Goku read. Getting a nudge in the ribs and the knowing look that Sanzo knows the Saru is advoiding the question, another big sigh and he popared to spill his guts to his beloved sun.* "I don't like it when your sad, any of you it.... it makes me upset and then...HE wants to come and make it better." The look of worry unusual on the Saru's face. "He frightens me so much and I still don't understand why." *Large golden eyes beg Sanzo to say something, poduce a mirical and make it all better, anything so that Goku could understand why people have to baire so much pain* Do you find this valuable? |

She wanted him to meet her parents, and that usually means a couple is headed for things like marriage... I think your friend Gojyo just isn't much of a marrying kind of a guy... The girls may think of him that way but I'm guessing he never thinks of them that way. ***A small chuckle escapes from deep in his chest and he takes a drag on his cigarette trying to hide it... Watching Goku thumb through the color illustrations of sushi ...rumaki... and other treats without begging for promises of another meal within the next hour or so, Sanzo glances at his face, and can tell something is else still eating at the small boy ... He pokes him and when he looks up at his "sun" Sanzo raises his eyebrow and gives him the questioning look that Goku, by now, knows means "what's going on?" ** ***He listens intently to the bakasaru's unraveling concerns, as it goes from concern for his friends to the larger fear of his inner demon seizing control, taking him over and his small self being lost in the process... Sanzo is even more surprised to hear Goku express the Seiten Teisei's concern's - not only that he is apparently hearing and understanding the sentiments of the old soul inside of him, but that they are often a caring, a deep concern for the mortals surrounding Him...** ***Sanzo sits up a little, sighs and puts his arm around the small boy pulling him closer to him as they sit up in the bed... He thinks for a long moment, composing his answer carefully in terms the young boy would understand... he isn't even entirely sure he understands...** CONT'D Do you find this valuable? |

Listen, saru... for one thing, if the Great Sage inside you is worried about the well-being of your mortal friends, then he is much kinder and gentler than any of us thought, not just destructive like we have thought up to now.Also, you always have this **knocks on the golden circlet** and this **points to his brain ** to keep you safe ... and I have faith in both of them, and in you. It may be as time goes on that you will have to start to learn to live with the being inside you being more ... active... and ...vocal. You are a very strong young man, Goku, and the Seiten Taisei is part of that. I have no doubt you will learn to live with him in a way that is safe for you and everyone around you. But you are never going to be alone. You will always have me, and now you have Hakkai and I suppose you have Gojyo, too. We all have your back, ok? Any time you need us, or need to talk, we are here. It may not be a normal family, but from what I've seen most of those don't turn out that well anyway. And one more thing, saru? As far as me being sad? You don't have to worry about that. It's about stuff from my past that I have to deal with myself. I'm sure as hell not walking all the way there at night. A beer huh? old enouught, hell let Hakkai give me some more lession on home brue and i could open a chain of bars, so Gojyo can fleese my clients. *The smile was like sun after the rain* promis not to drink to much. We could have dinner out and i can pratice eating quietly. *pokes the secrotly smiling monk in the ribs, before running to grab frash cloths and order hot water for them both* Do you find this valuable? |

***Sanzo tries not to grin as he shakes his head at the saru scampering off to prepare his bath, trying to imagine him possibly EVER eating quietly... too much to hope for...**AND USE THE SOAP DON'T JUST GET IT WET!! ***He settles into the windowseat for a cigarette and wonders what the evening has in store for them. He tries to remember the last time he spent a nice evening in a bar having a few drinks with friends.... and realizes that, well, he never really has. The closest he has ever come was a few times on the road looking for his master's sutra, when some strange guy would come sit next to him when he was sitting in a bar by himself having a beer or a cup of tea or sake. Most of the time they were unsure of whether he was a girl or boy, but were sure that whatever he was, he was a pretty young thing they wanted to fuck, and he would finger the gun in his robes, and pitch his voice as low as possible and snarl at them until they went away. Every once in a while it might actually be a kind stranger, one lonely like himself, that just wanted to talk, and he would either tolerate their presence in silence, or in the rare case when they weren't a complete moron, he might actually have a little conversation.** *** The sad thing was, he realized that was as close as he had come to what he was apparently going to do this evening. He raised one eyebrow, considering the cast of characters he was going to be with, the slightly neurotic sexually compulsive playboy, the hyper-polite reformed youkai that slew a thousand souls, and the five hundred year old Great Sage Equaling Heaven, now living in the body of a sweet, naive, crude, obstreperous 15-year-old boy. ** It should be an interesting evening.... *he mused to himself ** Do you find this valuable? |

Hakkai pulled up to the monastery to see Goku jump down off the wall he had been sitting on and call out to the healer. Sanzo dropped his finished smoke on the ground and climbed into the passenger seat while the saru hopped in the back."Oi, Goku! You look pretty snazzy this evening? Is that a new shirt? Meeting someone special??" The young man blushed and then quickly started a rant. Hakkai chuckled and glanced over as Sanzo as he turned Jippu around and headed back to town. "You look pretty good all spiffed up too Sanzo. I am glad you decided to come out tonight. It should be fun." Do you find this valuable? |

With a chuckle at Sanzo's discomfort at the comment on his appearance, Hakkai pressed down on the accelerator, speeding towards the bar.After twenty minutes the small group arrived at ‘Foxes Booze and Cruise’. The small bar was busy but not packed. The three quickly found a table and ordered a round of beer and a root beer for Goku. “Well, Gojyo said he would meet us and I wouldn’t be surprised if he shows up soon so why don’t we go ahead and order some food” Do you find this valuable? |
