"its my pet, my prize and the little brat aint got no hold, mine." the small snarl was more for goku but had little heat to it. the sage let his eye look at the goddess full in her violet ones, tilting his head in the nod of one powerfull creatcher meeting an equel. "he's my snow thorn no matter what konzen orders i dont just leave my propaty..... on the wind. but my desires, the rub and conflict little one, make him want to drive away MY pet before they freinds, tell the little brat this is not a time to be noble." the sage steped back feeling that he had now clued the goddess to the real problem. well from his point of view and it might be the wolf in sheep clothing bitching that he smelt of sheep, but the sage had had little pets and even few... mate.... no his pet not mate.. not cant. I think I am getting an idea of what has happened here. You and Goku found your first... companionship. And it has quite affected you, hasn't it Seiten Taisei? "sex yes, we dont agree on mate, little one to fresh and sleepy. but i indeed have lost little of myself, " he puffed out in pride "i hunted and found him. but i played nice. then he come seek me so we play game i win. he's my prize. kenren wants me to throw hard won prize away like cheep win." the sage norted in discust. "out of respect i dont spread blood to keep mine. besides would upset little one and goddess he bitchers more than konzen about you lovly ass. no way i chose to have that for next 500 years. but my prize dam it. mortals forget freial laws. i catch i keep." As they talked he appeared to be relaxing some, even with the Great Sage present and speaking -- She found that encouraging. "I'm sure Goku and the others all appreciate all the self-control it takes for you to live peacefully with them. I know it's not easy at times. And if you truly have found someone that makes you both happy, then you and Goku should try to keep them in your life, if that is at all possible." She pulled him up to sit in her lap, and wrapped on arm around his waist and held his cheek gently with the other, turning his face so they were eye-to-eye as she spoke. "But that may not be possible right now, Goku - and it doesn't matter what Konzen or Kenren or anyone thinks. You four have an important job to do, and you have to keep moving. That's just the way it is. But it won't last forever. Hopefully it won't last too much longer. "peeping again, tut." and so amused the sage wondered back to the not so dark den he clamed as his land in gokus mind, slowly the light of the boy was seeping in or was his shadow ventering firther out. still the sage curled up so to speak and gicing an unseen wink and final amused cukle slept for now, ear cocked. "can seth do what he said find me? he will be worried, ohh hakkai, sanzo must be chewing them all up. i'm so selfish." the young fragile boy looking up. as always goku thought of the others first. pulling away gently he rose looking whistflully in the direction he came from. She put her arm around him and pulled his head down onto her chest, stifling a chuckle as Goku snuffled like an unweaned puppy into her ample bosom, heaving a contented sigh. "There now, darling, isn't that better? You don't have a selfish bone in your body, except perhaps where it comes to food, and you'll outgrow that soon. You're just confused because adolescence is a confusing time for everyone, dear --- and it's doubly confusing for you, because you have to go through it for two people in one body, and one of them is rather... complicated. Give yourself a break Goku, things have a way of unfolding in their own way in their own good time. You and the Sage will learn to live together better and better as you grow older. It's always been my feeling that by the time you are a grown man, if you can manage to harness the forces within you, you could be completely integrated, Goku and the Great Sage would be one, and the power you will have at that point would be truly awesome." He looked at her with his golden eyes large and luminous, disbelief and a certain amount of fear looming in them. She stroked his hair soothingly. "But that will be the end result of a long process. And Goku, all of that power means absolutely nothing if it is not accompanied by wisdom and compassion. Tenkai is full of kamis with tons of power but little compassion or wisdom, and that's what makes it such an unbearable place. Learn from the other three you are traveling with. Believe it or not, they have a fair amount of both, although they hide it well on most days." She was repressing a laugh, and very glad Konzen could not hear her talk with his charge. Oct 1 2008, 5:54 PM EDT \| Post edited: Oct 1 2008, 5:54 PM EDT goku snugled in closer to her body like a child seeking warmth from a peront and in a way she had been now and then just as much as konzen then. now the goddess had stood back so that sanzo could have the glory and heart ake that helping a child grow intailed. mummbling softly about smelling good, like flowers freshly picked and stolen frute, goku heavy eyes began to blink. "not want power, just want the world to be nice, every one to be happy." sleeply he slered out. peace filled him, the inner rage at unjustance moved on from. the dread that this was the end, washed away in soft words of a higher power and over the lots was the healing presance of famoly. "one more battle we survived" goku thoughts with his famoly, making the goddess laught. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

And if it comes up, you can tell Konzen I said that. Understood?" He nodded vigorously. "Second, you've been kind of cheated in the parenting department, and if I can help, well.... What I mean is. if you ever need me, all you need to do just call me -- Preferably somewhere where we can be alone, but, well, whatever. Just say "LotusBlossom" and I'll be there, wherever whenever. OK?" She kissed him on his right cheek and then his left and hugged him to her chest very hard, blinking back the tears she felt coming to her eyes. Sanzo stopped at Hakkai's side and lit a smoke, making a point of standing so that the smoke did not all blow directly into the healer's face. "Kai, go to your room. We'll go find the monkey. Make sure we have what we need to leave in the morning, and then relax. Take the night off. We'll let you know when we find him. He'll be ok, he's just in a funk, and needs some time alone. Guess he's been hangin' around me too much." He turned to face Gin, who had been looking at him like he had been bathing in a nest of skunks. He ignored his sour gazes and continued with what he had to say. ""Look, Gin, do whatever you think is best with that kid - let him go, let him stay, your call. Just don't let him ruin your night. If it comes to that, show him the door... or the window, whatever." He turned back to Hakkai and and touched his arm gently, making eye contact and trying to let him know that he would take care of it, of Goku and Gojyo both, before he turned and walked off. Gojyo stood there rooted to the spot, surprised by Sanzo's actions. "Tch. C'mon, kappa," Sanzo called over his shoulder without looking back as he ambled off down the street. Just as he had turned back to the Inn to find Hakuryu and go after Goku, Gin came out the door and stopped him. His lover seemed pissed and Hakkai was concerned that something had happened between him and Seth. Gin ranted at him for a bit and he tried his hardest to keep up. You would think that years of living with Gojyo would have made this easier but he could only blink at his lover in confusion. Didn't Gin understand that he had responsibilities that he was not allowed out of? He had to find Goku and make sure he was alright. He had to keep his family together. It never mattered what he wanted. Before he could say anyting, Sanzo and Gojyo appeared. Trying to keep the surprise from registering on his face by Sanzo's words, Hakkai could only stare at his mate. What in the world did he say to Sanzo? When Sanzo touched his arm and their eyes locked, he could see that the monk understood and was taking the burden from him... yet again. He nodded his thanks, still unable to speak as he willed his emotions down. As Sanzo and Gojyo headed down the street, Hakkai peered up at Gin who seemed to be about ready to burst. With a soft smile, he leaned in and rested his forehead against his shoulder. Breathing deeply his mates scent, he gently reached for Gin's arm. "You're hurt?" Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Hakkai began to worry his bottom lip with his teeth again. What if Seth lost control and his mate was hurt.. badly.. or.. Hakkai stopped his thoughts. "No.. no.. "I know you can handle yourself love, but you realize he is more than just youkai?" Peering into silver eyes hoping that they understood that he really was worried and that this wasn't something to take lightly. "Will you be leaving with Seth in the morning?" "He's more than youkai? I wondered. He's got a helluva power. He, I saw him when those youkai were here. I--- swear he -- he knew you guys were coming. Let he was letting me know, to just hang on; I feel like I owe him." Steering Hakkai into the lobby he approached the bar and the young man that had so studiously avoided his earlier haraunging of the Monk and his Kappa. "Hey," Gin nodded, "can I get a paper and pen? If we give you a list of supplies we need before leaving tomorrow, is there someone who can collect the stuff for us and we pay up on our way out?" The young man nodded and pulled up a pad and passed it over just come back down and give it to me and my brother can make sure the stuff is ready. One of the ladies baked a load of breads for you, and I know the fruit market set some fruits and vegetables aside for you guys. "That's great," Gin smiled. "Gojyo, the redhead, told us we have the use of the small dining room? Can we have a dinner there about 7 tonight? I hate to put more on you guys but it would be great if we all had a hot meal before we left. Anything if fine." The youth nodded, eager to serve the monk who saved them. Arm still firmly about his lover Gin turned the bemused Hakkai and led him up the stairs. "Do we kick Seth's ass out?" He pushed the door open and they both observed Seth, headphones on, bent over the tiny scattered pieces of a watch. I have to finish this before I leave so I can put it back in the drawer working and make the person confused. Goku thinks it's like cookie fairies. Seth glared at Hakaryuu who took one of the little gears and dropped it, appearently just to watch it fall. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Hakkai waited for him to take the headphones off and stepped slightly in front of Gin. "Seth, would you mind staying here for a bit. You can keep doing what you are doing.
